Richmond Trails Committee 11/19/2024 Present: Alison Aiken, Mike Donahue, Chase Rosenberg, Hannah Harrington, Ben Feinson, and Jean Bressor Update from ACFC - Jimmy Cochran and Sam Pratt were both nominated for the ACFC. RMT is coming to the December meeting to discuss with ACFC their participation in trail work and upkeep. The meeting is December 16th. Tyler Machia is coming to the next meeting to discuss trails and site plans. Update on Old Jericho Road - for the next meeting. Callie and Tyler met with Josh yesterday. Review of trail work done (River Trail, JBR trail) and work still needed to be done. There is a pile of material along the river trail. Hannah will look into getting a quick bridge on the waterway closest to the cemetery. There are still some large trees that need to be addressed and some small trees that need to be cut up. JBT boardwalk is fixed and usable. Discuss "Black Arrow Trail" from Overockers to River - check with town on making the trail official for canoes/ kayakers. Alison will follow up with Josh RCC BioFinder training opportunity - Lidar maps - January 9th - at 7:00pm - Zoom training Ben, Chase, Hannah and Mike are interested Approve minutes - minutes approved Will postpone December meeting. Next meeting is January 21st, 2025
