The Volunteers’ Green and Browns Court Project Committee has been created by the Selectboard to collect public feedback and provide recommendations to the Selectboard for projects to pursue at Volunteers’ Green and Browns Court. The Selectboard expanded the scope of the Volunteers Green and Browns Court Project Committee to include recommending the use of ARPA funds for improvements at the Round Church Green (10/16/23).
The Selectboard moved to hold $450,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to go toward projects at Volunteers Green, Browns Court and the Round Church Green. The committee is expected to conduct public outreach and return to the Selectboard with recommendations for projects by the end of March 2024. The ARPA committee has feedback from the public and has obtained draft documents related to projects in both parks that can serve as a starting point for the Committee.
