Honoring the Organizers and Volunteers of Halloween on the Green.  On November 7, 2022 the Selectboard of the Town of Richmond wishes to recognize and thank Rebecca and Andrew French, Chuck Senick, Bryan Moreau, and their fellow organizers and volunteers for all their hard work making the Halloween on the Green possible and bringing smiles to the faces of children across eastern Chittenden County.

Honoring All Who Made Halloween Night in Richmond 2022 Such A Success​​​​​​​. ​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​On November 7, 2022  the Selectboard of the Town of Richmond wishes to recognize and thank the residents of Pleasant Street, Esplanade Street, Church Street, Bridge Street, Tilden Avenue, and Baker Street and Mount Mansfield Community Television, Celebrate Richmond, and the Richmond Fire and Police Departments for everything they did to make Halloween 2022 a spooky, fun, and safe event.

Ryan Cochran-Siegle Day On February 17, 2022, the Selectboard of the Town of Richmond wishes to recognize and honor Ryan Cochran-Siegle for his accomplishments in the 2022 Winter Olympics by declaring Saturday, February 19, 2022 to be “Ryan Cochran-Siegle Day” in Richmond, VT and by presenting him with a “Key to Richmond”

Face Coverings

On May 17, 2021, the Richmond Selectboard repealed the face covering resolutions that were passed in 2020. The Town now requires all people in the town to follow the guidance posted by the State of Vermont regarding face coverings and precautions for COVID-19.
